I debated on sharing this, but hopefully others can relate.
While trying to heal my body via diet/exercise, I often feel "fluffy" or "fat". I have hashimotos/SIBO and put on weight extremely easily, even with tracking everything that I put into my body and all of my training/cardio. I've dealt with an eating disorder in the past (fear of food) and it is very challenging to overcome. Tracking macros and bodybuilding has helped me tremendously, but I still have body dysmorphia and I fight hard not to be too hard on myself. So, after beginning #Keto , I have decided to just focus on improving my lifts and gaining muscle for a while. I'm finally up to 225 on hip thrusts for 5x4, and this is 70% of my max on Deadlifts at 205 for 5x4.
There is always room for improvement, but don't be afraid to feel proud of yourself at anytime! 😊💪🏻
P.S. lifting heavy will not make you "bulky"! It's actually way more fun than cardio, in my opinion anyway. 😂💪🏻
